This restaurant, one of the most renowned in Catalan cuisine, is located in the centre of Llafranc. Open since 1955, the gastronomic concept has evolved without losing the tradition and spirit of origin, always based on respect and quality of local products. This work has enabled it to obtain its 1st Michelin star in 2011 (still valid). Fresh and very well made menu, combined with an excellent wine cellar. The establishment, which is part of the Cuina de l'Empordanet association, also has a comfortable hotel with 20 rooms. Recommended visit.

Here is a very pleasant and well placed place on the point of the beach of Calella to calm the small hungers and more if affinities. One will choose to settle down in the interior room or in terrace, not to miss anything of the spectacle. The menu includes paella, rice or fideuà, grilled sardines, squid, or pa amb tomàquet with ham, and no less than seven kinds of salad. For a sweet touch, you can opt for tangerine sorbet or classic Catalan cream. It's hearty and tasty, a good address.

This restaurant will take you about 4 km to the northwest of Palafrugell but you will be in the theme of Josep Pla since it is in Llofriu that it is buried. Built in 1878, the building that houses this Fraternal Center was home to several cafes and casinos until 1897, when it was completely reformed. As it is not on the waterfront, but in a street parallel to it, it is mainly reached by word of mouth. Positive and rather justified. Behind the brown door with the boat's sign, there are two large interior spaces, including a pretty garden with many plants. On the kitchen side, it favours fresh produce and proximity. The carpaccios are very good and the paellas look good. One can finish with a turrón ice cream, sprinkled with ratafia liqueur. Remember to book, because the address has its regular followers.
