The Scriptorium is a permanent, interactive and didactic exhibition, which offers an insight into the cultural past of the region and highlights the essential cultural role played by the Monastery of Santa Maria between the 10th and 12th centuries in Europe, mainly in terms of the production and copying of sacred texts. The visit will also be an opportunity to learn how a parchment is made and how to produce a quill pen that writes and even play the role of an apprentice copyist by putting into practice what you have learnt during the tour.
