For those who don't have the time to go deep into the jungle, this is a beautiful and well managed community option. The Ríos Avisado reserve, of 3,500 ha, is a small piece of flooded jungle miraculously preserved. Here, the trees are said to walk, as the roots of the renacal trees extend above the water. It is also a paradise for bird watchers. Monkeys (the small fraile and the mono negro) and sloths are also present. In short, a nice (and still rather unknown) excursion to discover the local fauna and flora, without having to go deep and linger too long.
