The 10,800 ha salt marsh is home to some 278 plant species and 200 bird species (157 of which are protected). Two types of visits to the Giraud salt marsh are possible all year round: a visit on foot, with access by car to the Semaphore car park, and a visit by bicycle on a dedicated route through the heart of the typically Camargue fauna and extraordinary landscapes. In summer, guided tours of 1h15 are organized on reservation.

Interesting visit, but the welcome is execrable, which is a rooftop for a structure that claims to be tourist.
The visit salins is a really visit when you come to Aigues Mortes. The journey is done by train and comments of the driver are very retracing. You can see pink flamingos, ducks and tons and tons of salt...
interesting and pleasant cultural visit, discovery of the Camargue, and these salins, comments of the guide without commentary!
