KARAFUU BEACH RESORT & SPA has received several awards, which is not a coincidence but the result of the excellent service offered to our clients.
2 villas, located along the white sandy beach and under the palm trees, with a spectacular view. Enter through a private garden directly into a large living room. Each villa has two separate bedrooms with dressing rooms, a large living room, two bathrooms and a private pool. They are fully equipped with mosquito netting, air conditioning, fans, hot and cold running water, hair dryer, television, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and wi fi
3 Suites, located on the beach, under the palm trees, with a spectacular view. Enter through a private garden directly to a large living room with two sofas and a sitting area, a large bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom, a veranda directly overlooking the sea with two wooden lounge chairs, a table and a local sofa, and a private outdoor shower. The suite includes mosquito nets, fans, air conditioning, hot and cold running water, hairdryer, telephone, television, minibar, coffee/tea maker, safe and wi fi. (up to 3 people).
26 Junior Suites, all facing the sea, with a spectacular view. They are all located on the beachfront, with private garden, spacious living room, large bedroom, drawing room, Carrara marble bathrooms, veranda facing the sea with 2 sun loungers and table, and a local sofa, mosquito nets, fans, air conditioning, hot and cold running water, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer, safe and wi fi. (it can allow max 4 pax).
40 cottages located on a small slope just behind the Junior Suites. Most of them offer a partial view of the sea through the palm trees. Entrance through a private garden, large bedroom, dressing room, Carrara marble bathroom, breathtaking veranda with 2 sun loungers and table, mosquito net, fan, private air conditioning, hot and cold water, hair dryer, telephone, television, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and Wifi. (MAX 4 persons)
20 Bondeni pool rooms, totally new, in the Bondeni area, which includes a pool restaurant, a pool bar, and a fitness center with air conditioning. Located at the top of the tropical garden and facing the Bondeni pool, all rooms are the same size, and some have a double verranda. Each Bondeni pool room is equipped with mosquito net, air conditioning, fan, hot and cold running water, hair dryer, telephone, minibar, safe and wi fi (up to 3 persons).

Karafuu's highly recommended cuisine includes themed evenings and different themes. You can even have a romantic dinner right on the water. There is an incredible choice with 3 restaurants:
- the principalk restaurant, with sea view and generous buffet portions
- the a la carte restaurant "Le Grand Bleu", with its lobsters, cicadas and other seafood.
- the floating restaurant for an "all you can eat" lobster menu (on request and if conditions permit). Located 200m in the Indian Ocean on the other side of the peninsula (5 minutes by boat).
Once a week you can also go to the Masai diner to watch the folk dances.

Très beau complexe avec une clientèle internationale. Personnel agréable, sympathique et attentif. Les chambres sont belles et très propres, les filles qui nettoient les chambres passent deux fois par jour. La nourriture est très variée et de très bonne qualité. | Sur la plage il y a le phénomène des marées, ce qui la rend unique et impressionnante. |Absolument recommandé

Magnifique hôtel avec une superbe vue sur l’océan indien avec son eau turquoise. |Néanmoins, quelques points négatifs non négligeables sont à afficher :|- Certains serveurs ne sont pas aimables |- L’eau potable est payante, donc si vous voulez remplir votre gourde pour une excursion il faut payer. De même lors des repas, si vous voulez de l’eau il faut payer, même dans la formule tout inclus l’eau reste payante. |- Les excursions proposées par l’hôtel sont hors de prix. Prenez le temps de discuter avec les locaux, les prix sont bien meilleurs pour autant, voir plus de service ! (Massage 10$ contre 30$, etc.)|- Au moment du check-out, nous devions 100$ d’extra. Pour l’hôtel, 1$=1€ alors qu’au jour où nous quittons, l’indice était à 1$=0.88€. L’hôtel n’a rien voulu savoir, aucune négociation possible. |- Lors de notre dernier jour, après notre check out, nous avons décider manger au buffet (simple et efficace) >> 70$ pour 2, aliments froids, qualité médiocre. C’est une honte. ||En résumé, l’hôtel est splendide en apparence, avec une vue mer, superbe piscine avec bar, chambre bien. Néanmoins, le service est plus que désirable pour un hôtel qui prétend détenir 4 étoiles. ||Je ne reviendrai pas ici.

- Les excursions proposées par l’hôtel sont hors de prix. Prenez le temps de discuter avec les locaux, les prix sont bien meilleurs pour autant, voir plus de service ! (Massage 10$ contre 30$, etc.)
- Au moment du check-out, nous devions 100$ d’extra. Pour l’hôtel, 1$=1€ alors qu’au jour où nous quittons, l’indice était à 1$=0.88€. L’hôtel n’a rien voulu savoir, aucune négociation possible.

Avril n'est pas une aussi mauvaise saison que l'on croit. Certes des averses orageuses, mais derrière de belles éclaircies. Il y fait quand même chaud et l'eau l'est tout autant.Il y a beaucoup moins de monde et les prix sont plus doux. |Le personnel est serviable et gentil,nous avons adoré échanger avec eux. Les chambres sont propres, change des serviettes et ménage tous les jours. La nourriture était suffisamment variée et bonne , des repas à thèmes sont aussi proposés. Les animations du soir sont rythmées est sympas.|Nous avons fait de très belles excursions, ce qui permet de se rendre compte non seulement de la beauté de ce pays mais aussi du décalage avec notre vie en Europe. |Vous trouverez toujours des gens critiques, mais ne pas oublier que les normes sont différentes. |Merci au karafuu , au club Kappa pour ces belles vacances. Merci plus spécialement à Iddi, Omar, Christophe les animateurs Kappa pour nous avoir fait partager les us et coutumes de leurs pays. Merci aux autres personnels et notre ''tranquille Émile" Souleyman "le magnifique " serveur au restaurant principal qui ne laisse personne indifférent avec sa gentillesse et son humour. Il y aurait tant d'autres personnes à citer que voilà...|Je pourrais rentrer plus dans les détails et trouver des choses négatives à redire, mais très honnêtement ce ne serait que des détails par rapport à ce beau séjour qui restera inoubliable pour nous.
Accueil peut sympathique (la personne désignée pour nous expliquer en français n avait pas du tout envie de le faire, son ton hautain et méprisant fut même perçu par notre fille qui nous a fit pourquoi il est en colère après nous).
Nous avons nous même porter nos valises dans notre chambres pour un 5 étoiles (remarquez nous les avons également portées pour le départ).
Les all inclusif est assez restrictif et les repas redondants.
5 euros par jour et par personne de taxe enfants compris c est du vol et en plus en dollars. Si vous payez en euros sachez qu il y a la bourse mondial et la bourse du karaafu (75 dollars =66 euros mais pour eux c est 73...) c est une escroquerie.
Dernier jour à l hotel, marteau piqueur et disqueuse à la piscine de 13h30 à 16h30 avec naturellement bruit et poussière.
Aucun goûter pour les enfants, les journées pour eux sont longues....
La chambre de courtoisie commune pour tous les départs et pas de.menages entre chaque.donc faut aimer se doucher avec les cheveux et poils des étrangers.
Il y a cependant de rares membres du personnel sympathique et agréable et heureusement...mention spéciale à Souleyman le magnifique....
