Owner's Message
Our guesthouse Blue Reef Bungalows is located directly on the beautiful white sandy beach of Jambiani village.
It is a small and cosy guesthouse with only 5 bungalows.
Our garden is shaded, surrounded by palm trees and offers a breathtaking view of the crystal clear turquoise water of the Indian Ocean.
Discover the local life
Jambiani is a small, authentic fishing village on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, far from the mass tourism and large resorts of the north.
It is only 55 km from the capital Stone Town and the airport.
We are integrated into the village, which means that you will also experience the local life on the island.
During the day, children play on the beach, villagers fish or maintain their boats, and at low tide, women collect seaweed.

I loved their kitchen design and tasty food. Trio of tuna is recommended for those who don't have issues with eating raw fish.
Special highlight is the crew of the restaurant/bar under the supervision of lovely Welemina (I hope I spelled the name correctly). They are a true spirit of the place, always polite, friendly, and positive. Rubi is a star ????
There is also a kite station onsite with professional, helpful crew and good equipment.
I would also like to mention my respect to the owners of the hotel as they really support sustainability, both environmental and social.
