Chambless is about 3.5 miles from Cadiz Summit. The Chambless Market is one of the last vestiges of the city. At about 1.7 miles west, the ruins of the Roadrunner's Retreat are still standing. At 2.8 miles from there, 1.1 miles before the intersection with Kelbacker Road, a shrub at the passage of an oued was "decorated" old shoes, becoming what is known as a shoe tree; another is also visible before arriving at Amboy.
