Travel Guide San José De Los Remates

From Teustepe, you can win the village of San José de Los Remates, at the limit of dry and humid regions (buses do the journey). There you can sleep and eat at the hostel «La Carne asada» at the entrance to the village. There is a very good meat with fire meat and we sleep there in a rudimentary way. From here a 3-hour walk leads to El Chorro, a beautiful waterfall that you can see from the village.You can also visit plantations of oranges, grapefruit and even coffee plantations. If you have a vehicle, the road is superb between San José and Boaco (4 x 4 recommended!). In 5 hours walking, the hotel will also be able to take a bus to Boaco, where you can take a bus for Boaco. Attention: no hostel in Santa Lucia.
