A building housing the Mu. ZEE in Ostend, with modern art architecture and works by Belgian artists.
The building that houses the Mu.ZEE - a former supermarket built by the Antwerp architect Gaston Eysselinck after the Second World War - is in itself a model of modern art architecture. On two floors, the works of Belgian artists from 1880 to the present day are exhibited in a beautiful space where Flemish expressionism and abstract art mingle with contemporary artistic trends. There are works by Ensor, Spilliaert, Permeke, Raveel, Broodthaers, Panamarenko, Alechinsky, Tuymans, De Cordier, Dujourie... Temporary exhibitions of quality.
