On Langestraat, in the heart of Nieuport, the former city hall now houses the police station. It was restored in 1924 in its original style of 1513-1516 as a result of the ravages of the First World War which caused much damage in the region. On the pilasters facade opens a portal in full hanger. In the niche is a statue of madone with children of Art nouveau style.
