It's not easy to find out about cooperage, because the professionals don't take visitors. Frédéric Gillet, who comes from a family of coopers, decided in 2000 to share his passion with the public by creating a space dedicated to this craft in Vignoles. Here, you'll discover fine cooperage pieces such as oak barrels and pitchers. Presentations, videos and animations retrace the history of this age-old craft. The workshop is fun and educational, and can accommodate up to 15 people. A must for wine tourism.

Les verres sont superbes et le mètre en tonneau recyclé est magnifique. Une vraie œuvre d’art. Le cadeau a été très apprécié. J’ai pu échanger en amont par téléphone car je m’y étais prise un peu tard pour commander, et l’équipe à été très réactive pour que je puisse avoir le tout à temps. Ils se sont même assurés de la bonne réception du colis. Vraiment rien à dire. A part merci !
Frédéric est passionné et nous transmet sa passion lors des ateliers pour découvrir le tonneau. Au-delà du tonneau, cela permet de mieux comprendre le vin !
