This th-century church was originally built by the church of the th century. Completely refurbished in 1898-1899, it became a church-hall-town hall with a confessional, a chair of truth and side altars of the th century. Painter Albijn Van den Abeele and sculptor George Minne were buried in the cemetery. In the village you will discover the modern architecture of the communal house, which harmoniously blends with the other buildings of the main square. Not far from there is the Koutermolen, a wooden mill on the pivot of 1373. Restored in 1979, this beautiful wheat mill has been in perfect condition.

Adorable église paroissiale chaulée dans son enclos avec de superbes grilles. L'église a été classée en 1983. Dans l'église, une toile majeure de Gustave van de Woestyne. Le village se situe le long d'un méandre de la Lys. Sint-Martens-Latem est la commune la plus riche de Belgique
