The Liefmans brewery has been based in the Oudenaarde region since 1679. The brewery produces typical dark beers such as Liefmans Oud Bruin, and "Kriek-brut": this award-winning beer is a blend of Oud Bruin and lager, matured for almost a year and a half with Morello cherries! Liefmans is also at the cutting edge of innovation and creativity: for the past few summers, the fruity, light and refreshing Liefmans "On the Rock" has been joined by an alcohol-free version and a peach version.
