Modern, functional and clean youth hostel near the Castle of the Counts with beds in rooms, friendly bar
Particularly well located, close to the Castle of the Counts, this youth hostel is modern, functional and clean. It was renovated in 2015, as the giant graffiti at the entrance shows. The hostel has a total of 119 beds divided into rooms for 2 to 6 people (including 6 double rooms), all with their own bathroom and really spacious, with those tables in the center for the larger dorms. There is also a friendly and lively bar, a computer with internet, wifi and a collective kitchen.

Een slaapkamer delen met vreemdelingen is een beetje de wereld rondreizen. Je krijgt nieuwtjes over die landen en commentaren op Belgische toestanden vanuit een ander standpunt. Daarvoor alleen al zou ik de kamer boeken.
Maar nu was het om het lichtfestival te kunnen meemaken. Ongelooflijk hoe snel de stad vernieuwt.En hoe de Gentebaren ons steeds weer verrassen!
Inchecken kan tot 22u30. Maar als je laat ten tonele verschijnt, hebben ze wel een oplossing. Zodat je toch je sleutel van de kamer krijgt en je lakens.
De hostel is eco gecertificeerd. Hij ligt middenin het centrum. Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn te voet te bereiken. Vanuit het station, kan je met de tram op een kwartiertje de hostel bereiken. Het centrum is autoluw en dat maakt het voor toeristen extra leuk.De hostel biedt een kalender van gratis activiteiten per dag. En geeft suggesties voor uitstappen met kinderen. Spelmateriaal is voorzien of te verkrijgen aan de bar
Grappig hoe ze in de hostel met oude videotapes plantenbakken gebouwd hebben.
