A majestic Gothic church in the heart of Semur, built over nearly three centuries.

Construction of this majestic church in the heart of Semur spanned almost three centuries, from 1220 to the Renaissance. Gothic in style, its slender architecture was designed to be closer to Heaven and God, according to medieval beliefs. A veritable stone book, the exterior features a calendar of agricultural work and "the golden legend of the apostle Saint Thomas". Inside, large multicolored stained glass windows provide plenty of natural light, while the choir stalls date back to 1728.
