The village lies on the Lesse, a tributary of the Meuse which has caused erosion of the surrounding Calestienne limestone massif, forming the famous Han caves, much visited in the region. A wildlife park was opened in 1970. It brings together wild boar, fallow deer, tarpan, European bison, ibex, brown bear, wolf, boreal lynx and rare Przewalski's horses. There's also the PrehistoHan, with its collection of archaeological remains dating from the Neolithic to the present day. The PassHan ticket combines Grotte de Han, the Animal Park and the PrehistoHan museum for €39.50. Immersion stay at Cocoon Village or in tents in the trees.
