One of Europe's most beautiful stations, built by Santiago Calatrava in 2009, downhill from the oversized Cointe hill.

It is impossible to miss it, because it is one of the most beautiful stations in Europe! Built by the Spaniard Santiago Calatrava in 2009, it stands out for its futuristic lines, its oversized size, its brightness and its position, down the Cointe hill. Since its inauguration, it has hosted exhibitions every year. On the esplanade that connects it to the river, one sits on the lawn in front of the big clock and admires the Spanish masterpiece... or the brand new Finance Tower that now faces it.

La superbe gare vaut absolument le détour. Sa beauté posée au pied de la colline, mérite qu'on s'y arrête et que l'on prenne quelques photos (dont, non loin de là, la maquette géante de la fusée de Tintin, issue de des albums Objectif Lune et On a marché sur la lune). J'ai rarement vu une gare aussi jolie. Je l'ai visitée lors de l'excellente exposition Golden Sixties en 2012, qui avait lieu sur place et en a fait profiter des amis en leur faisant visiter cette jolie ville de Liège en été 2015

C'est sans contexte une belle réalisation .... C'est à voir ... Découvrez la depuis l'accès coté colline, vous aurez l'impression de voir un circuit de train miniature ... Mais que de pauvre trains .. Il semble que l'architecte à oublié la fonction de son œuvre ... C'est glissant quand il pleut (Ce qui n'est pas rare) et franchement polaire en hiver ... Et pour le blanc immaculé des premiers jours il a déjà subit le temps ...
