The commune of Prenois is closely linked to Dijon by the presence of the Dijon-Prenois circuit, created in 1972, in one of its valleys. The mechanical sports events that take place there attract more than 250,000 visitors each year. The village has nevertheless preserved its charm of a Côte-d'Or village, combining contemporary houses with the dry-stone buildings that have made its history. People also come here for its gastronomic restaurant, the Auberge de la Charme. It is also the starting point or passage point for hiking trails in the direction of the Val Suzon offering the charm of varied landscapes between grassy plateaus, valleys, cliffs and forests.
