CHÂTEAU DE MONTMOYEN
Castle built in the 17th century on the foundations of a former fortified castle, now a heritage treasure not to be missed during a visit
Built in the 17th century on the foundations of an ancient medieval fortified castle, Château de Montmoyen is a true survivor. Bought by François and Élisabeth Hamy in 1989, after 20 years of neglect and ruin, this Classical-style château is now a not-to-be-missed heritage nugget when you're in the area. The quality of the restoration by these two history buffs earned them the Jury's Special Prize at the Grand Trophée de la plus belle restauration 2015.
