Les Vieux Fourneaux isn't just a place to enjoy home-made fries and pizzas, a cup of coffee or a festive evening out. It's also the village's indispensable multiservice grocery store, just as it was in days gone by. And it's a formula that's a big hit with old and young alike. Stéphane Guenin and his family have remarkably revived the place with the sale of basic necessities. All the essentials are on sale, plus a fine selection of local cheeses (Époisses) and cheeses from further afield (Bleu in particular).

What a treat it was stopping here on our way home after a long road trip. Stephen is a lot of fun to be around and he makes a lovely cup of coffee. They have a guitar you can play as well which my husband enjoyed. Thank you Stephen!

Arrivés a l'improviste lors d'une virée moto, nous avons été accueillis comme des princes malgré la cuisine vidée par les habitués. Belle adresse a garder de côté. Encore merci!
