Château de Meursault has 65 ha of vines in Meursault, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Beaune and the Corton hillside.

The 65-hectare estate includes 5 Grands Crus and 18 Premiers Crus spread over the prestigious terroirs of Meursault, Pommard, Puligny-Montrachet, Beaune and the hill of Corton. The Château, orangery, winery, outbuildings, dovecote, park and orchard form a 10-hectare ensemble. The impressive 3,500 m² medieval cellars house 800 barrels and are testimony to an exceptional winegrowing heritage. Discover this Burgundian jewel during a wine tasting (reservation required), including a tour of the historic cellars dating from the 12th to the 19th century.

Just had a really nice and very educational tasting visit here. Our guide, Mathieu, was knowledgeable and patient and the wines were great. Not much of a tour but the tasting was a great experience.

I visited the Chateau de Meursault last week. I had heard so many wonderful things from my brother who had visited it years ago. I was excited to discover it and show it to our guests visiting Burgundy for the first time. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed with the tour. For one, the Chateau was under renovation which I never saw highlighted on the website. It was listed but not in obvious print. Secondly, due to the renovation, the cellar tour was extremely short. 15 minutes out of 1 1/2 tour. We saw almost nothing of the cellar which honestly is the most impressive part to see. The rest was wine tasting. Third, we accidentally booked our 13-person tour in French instead of English. They did nothing to accommodate us. They said it was how it was booked. So the tour was in French and my guests did not understand any of it. I honestly think they could have made the efforts to do the tour in two languages or offer some type of accommodation. Not once did they try to provide some information in English. Yes, we made the mistake of booking it in French but honestly, our email confirmation was in English, and our billing address was in the US. That should somehow tell them we were looking for an English speaking tour. Some accommodation should have been done. Not the best customer service.
