Domaine Jean Monnier is undoubtedly the one of a passionate… And because of this, this is an area that has been run by the same family since 1720! Today, Jean-Claude and his son Nicolas are head of 16 hectares of vine from the Beaune Coast. Their catalog consists of white as red and Burgundy appellation, Villages or even First Cru swith names that make it dream more than one: Meursault Les Charmes; Pommard Fremiers or in Puligny-Montrachet village Little Nosroyes… In short, very beautiful products often recognized as such by specialists. To discover this area and its products, go to the area of the estate that offers tastings. Go judge yourself!

This summer was the second time I visited Domaine Jean Monnier et Fils. First time was in 2018 when I had a great visit with Regis. This time we had a great wine tasting with the son, Thomas. Learned a lot about the vineyards and how they've handled the last vintages given very different weather. We tasted several white wines, our favorite was the Clos du Cromin. Highly recommend a visit here if you're in Burgundy!

An absolutely wonderful wine tasting and lesson from Regis.. We learnt so much about Burgundy wines, Mersault wines, tasted so many bottles..

We visited on a Sunday, where many places were closed: Regis was kind enough to suggest a lunch venue and other wine shops that were open! All his recommendations were spot on!

Pro tip- reserve a slot in advance, or walk in punctually! There are limited slots for tasting
