In the medieval vaulted cellars of the Hospice de Meursault, Maison Ropiteau has been raising wines from regional appellations to Grands Crus since the 19th century. Gems such as Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, Pommard 1er Cru Chaponnières and Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières are peacefully matured in Burgundian rooms (228-liter barrels). From Easter to November, you can take a free tour of the cellars and cuverie, then choose your wines for a personalized tasting. Reservations required by e-mail or telephone.

Un lieu splendide, des crus fabuleux mais également la meilleure dégustation de loin que nous avons eu grâce à Hugo extrêmement professionnel, très agréable, absolument passionné par son domaine viticole et la région. Un moment vraiment unique à ne pas rater. On recommande plus que vivement cette visite.

Leuke plek om enkele wijnen van deze cave te proeven. Goed geholpen door een jongeman die ook goed Engels spreekt. Hij wist veel te vertellen over hetgeen wordt aangeboden. Voor wijnproeven moet je wel betalen, maar als je wijn koopt dan vervallen deze kosten.
