I visited this lovely restuarant two nights in a row. Not because there aren't other options, there are plenty. But because of the warm, friendly welcome and FABULOUS food! The owner and chef are kind and passionate souls who seem to really care about their food and the experience of their customers. I managed to try most things on the menu except the Foie Gras and cheeses. Both nights, I left feeling incredibly satiated and content. Everything I tasted was wonderful, but a special mention has to go to the Gougère which I tried for the first time (warm, puffy, cheesy choux pastry) the corn soup with slow cooked eggs and bacon, and the confit lamb. I also drank some exceptional Meursault Rouge and Blanc. What made my already bursting heart (and stomach) even happier was that the owner so patiently suffered through my broken French and really entertained my efforts. What an experience.
