VAL SUZON STATE-OWNED FOREST - EXCEPTIONAL FOREST
An exceptional forest with many species, including oaks, beeches, pines and spruces.
After being classified as a regional nature reserve in 2011, the Val Suzon forest was awarded the Forêt d'exception® label in 2016. The forest is home to many species of woodland, including oak, beech, lime and spruce. It is the5th forest in France to receive this label, out of a total of 19 forests involved in the process, 14 of which have been awarded the label by the Office National des Forêts. This 2,100 ha state-owned forest is located north-west of Dijon. A site worth discovering.
