The island of Naviti is fairly large (around 34 km²) and contains the most important Yasawa village: Soso Village. It is run by Chief Tuinaviti, who oversees the three clans (Mataqali): the Leweivuwa, Nambuya and Suelevu, which number between 400 and 500 people. Most of the island's Fijians work in the nearby resorts . Naviti Island offers several accommodation options, including the Botaira Beach Resort, Korovou Eco Resort and White Sandy Beach. The island can be reached in just over 3 hours by boat from Port Denarau. Honeymoon Beach is well worth a visit and a swim!
