Pine forest and river: the municipality of Bjurholm is a place far from the big cities and surrounded by nature. It is the second smallest municipal seat in Sweden and the seat of the country's least populated municipality. A popular local attraction is Älgens Hus, or "Elk House", where young and old can interact in person with these folkloric creatures of the Swedish landscape. Älgens Hus also offers guided tours in English. You can even taste moose cheese! In the vicinity, you will find some very nice hotels and hostels that will satisfy everyone's taste!
