Tällberg is a small village located between Leksand and Rättvik with a spectacular view of Lake Siljan. One of the special features of the village is that all the houses and buildings are made of wood, both timber and logs. This village of about 800 inhabitants overlooks a beautiful setting and at the beginning of the century, many Swedish artists came to settle here during the summer months. There are eight hotels in the village, which has grown from a farming village in the early 1900s to one of the most visited tourist areas in Sweden. On the site of the open-air museum, you can see traditional houses.
