Travel Guide Namib

The Namib section of the park, between the Kuiseb and Swakop Rivers, is not the most visited, although it is often crossed by travelers between the capital and the coast using the C28 and C26 trails (the only trails accessible without a permit). However, desert lovers will spend a night camping and exploring these different sites of interest. Some prefer to explore the area from Swakopmund with a guide. Travelers between Windhoek or Solitaire and Swakopmund can take different trails through the park to discover these wonderful landscapes. Only the main trails C28 or C14 do not require a permit. To travel on the side trails (e.g. Homab, Bluetkopje, Rock Arch...), an entrance fee must be paid to Namibia Wildlife Resorts.
