Elisabeth and Jean-Michel Seneschal welcome you throughout the year in the old farmhouse of the castle that they have completely restored themselves. Square courtyard, th-century buildings, former defensive tower converted into bunkers, remains of a medieval castle in the garden… A wonderful setting for absolute relaxation! Decorated with simplicity and taste, the guest rooms are comfortable and all equipped with their own bathroom and bathroom. Meals served are prepared with local or vegetable products. Delicious! In the winter, the fire is often close to the piano. In the summer, we eat on the terrace. Ask Jean-Michel where the garden table comes from… The answer is surprising! An annexe of the farm has been set up in a cottage, ideal for a reunion with family or friends. There are places we would never want to leave… The Tour de Giry is of these.

Snachts blijkt het bed vol vlooien te zitten.
Om 23.00 besloten toch de doorreis te vervolgen omdat slapen mer vlooien in bed geen optie is!
Wanneer we onze spullen gepakt hebben staan de eigenaren op het terrein, direct bedreigend dat het terrein niet voor volledige betaling verlaten mag worden!
De man stond met een grote stok in zijn hand, dreigen op ons en de auto’s te slaan als we zouden instappen. Dit allemaal in het bijzijn van kleine kinderen!
Let op, deze b&b eigenaar bied zich via Airbnb en eigen website aan. Als je via Airbnb wilt boeken, nemen ze deze boeking niet aan, alleen via hun eigen site. Achteraf gezien al heel verraderlijk natuurlijk!

Cadre très beau, authentique et rempli d'histoire.
Table d'hôte très bonne avec les produits faits maison.

Nous sommes accueillis par les canards et les oies, près de la mare.
Les hôtes sont adorables, généreux, délicieux. Les enfants ont même pu faire une chasse au trésor !
Leur démarche de vie est passionnante et inspirante.
Le gîte et sa grande pièce de vie est très convivial et il y fait bien chaud dès que vient l'hiver !
Le Morvan est superbe. Tant de choses à découvrir juste à côté.
Nous reviendrons, et nous testerons cette fois-ci la table d'hôtes !!
