Integrated into the Los Canarreos archipelago, the Youth Island is located in the south of Havana province, which is separated by the Gulf of Batabanó. Reach over 2 200 km ², it is the largest island in the country after Cuba and one of the areas of choice for scuba diving. Its capital Nueva Girona has a population of about 70 000. The southern part is a beautiful protected ecosystem. The South West coast of the island has more than diving sites. It is one of the best spots in the Caribbean. Extremely abundant marine life (tropical fish, lines, sharks, turtles), spectacular reefs, tunnels and chimneys. We generally enjoy excellent visibility.
