Village of 70 inhabitants, where you will be able to see a traditional cabeceiro, a kind of big wicker basket which is used to preserve the corn. It is only a decoration, of course the basket is not in use. Next to it stands the church of Santa María, which has a transitional Romanesque-Gothic architecture. Its pediment is decorated with a bas-relief representing the Virgin and Child. The interior, sober, invites to meditation, with its bare stones, its dark wooden frame and its alcove choir. Some other remarkable works in Leboreiro: its cross in the center of a circular square, and a statue of Saint James.
