The Gap is a strong house, situated on the edge of Tille, along one of the Compostelle routes. The oldest mention of this exceptional place dates back to the th century. There is a th century porterie. Inside the courtyard, surrounded by a wall of enceinte de, stands a typical Renaissance building. The place was ravaged during wars of religion, so the host body was reconstructed at the end of the th century. On the ground floor there is a small oratory and a kitchen, these two arched pieces are to see absolutely. The current owners, who acquired the buildings in 1980, rebuilt the roofs and recreusé the moat, filled in the 1930 s. They maintain, in a conservatory orchard, ancient trees which can be tasted in apples. The guided tour of the whole lasts about an hour. If you want to stay longer in this enchanting building, you can rent the cottage in the porterie.
