The Institute for a better knowledge of urban history and cities, ICOVIL, has set itself the task of showing the people of Dijon the metamorphosis of their environment. Through exhibitions and books, the ICOVIL association traces the evolution of Dijon and its urban planning. From the capital of the dukes to the metropolis it is today, the city has been transformed. Before the eyes of visitors, in photos and explanations, these changes appear and give us the opportunity to see and understand this urban history, in a different way of understanding the city.
