JAPANESE GARDEN
Superb Japanese garden with water point, relaxing waterfall, pagoda and tea house. A pleasant address in Dijon.
A trip to this garden will take you out of the city center, but it's well worth the detour. The Japanese garden is officially called Parc du Suzon, as the watercourse runs nearby. But the nickname given by the people of Dijon is perfectly justified, as all the aesthetics of the Japanese garden have been used here. In fact, in the center there's a water feature and a small, relaxing waterfall, surrounded by stones, plants, a Himalayan pine, a pagoda, a footbridge and a teahouse. Each element is a symbol: the waterfall symbolizes the passage of time, while the two islands symbolize earthly and celestial values. A soothing stroll.
