Contemporary art center designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, a must-see cultural venue in Dijon.

Designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, the Consortium is an internationally recognized center for contemporary art. Its 4,000 m² of modular space is ideal for showcasing the works on display and hosting temporary exhibitions. Several rooms are available, including the largest dedicated to temporary exhibitions. The art center also includes a bookshop, whose books are distributed by the publishing house Les presses du réel. A cultural venue not to be missed.

Closed on public holidays and during exhibition installations. Open Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 2-6pm; Friday, 2-8pm. Guided tours without reservation Fridays at 6.30pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 4pm. Free for children under 18. Adults: €5. Free every Friday from 5pm to 8pm. Guided tour (free for individuals. 50€ package for a group (25 pers max) + 5e /pers. By appointment only. Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm).

Dommage lorsque je lis tous les avis positifs, avons attendu devant la porte après 14h en plein soleil alors que le personnel était attablé dans la petite cour intérieure et ne semblait pas se préoccuper de l'ouverture des portes. Essaierons une prochaine fois avec plus de chance, je l'espère...je mets 10 à 30' d'attente mais sommes partis au bout de 7', il n'y avait que nous comme visiteurs.
