Dijon's archaeological museum retraces daily life in Gallo-Roman times thanks to excavations at Mediolanum.
Housed in the main wing of the former Benedictine abbey of Saint-Bénigne, the permanent collections present a panorama of man's presence in Burgundy from prehistory to the Middle Ages, through the region's key sites: Dijon, Alesia, Les Bolards, the sources of the Seine and Mâlain. For children, new activities every season allow them to enter the fascinating world of archaeology at their own pace. This year's program includes numerous themed tours and the European Night of Museums on May 18 from 6pm to midnight!

Do not miss this museum: if only for the beauty of the building. Do not miss the vaulted cellars and the vaults by the former abbey. Very interesting and various collections and museum open to all for free: the top!
