The church is particularly impressive for its size and the splendid 7-metre-high mosaic
Built in the 1930s, the Sacré-Coeur church brings spirituality to the Maladière district. Work began in 1931, under the direction of Parisian architect Julien Barbier. The church was consecrated on May 10, 1938. Surprising in its neo-Byzantine architectural style, it also bears a striking resemblance to the basilica at Paray-le-Monial. At 60 meters long, it is particularly impressive for its volume and the splendid 7-meter-high mosaic. An interesting piece of architecture that visitors are free to explore.

MERCI
