Quality Tourism. Low season: open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Sundays and public holidays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. High season: Monday to Saturday, 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 6:30pm; Sundays and public holidays, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. During the summer, opening hours are uninterrupted at midday. Closing at 4pm on December 24 and 31, closed on December 25 and January 1.

About the town, oh my god, I can't recommend it enough! Free entry museums, very well indicated tourist spots and of course, the moutarde shops, which were a treat! The free museums were the beaux arts, in the town centre, and the natural history museum, in the botanical garden near the station. If you follow the parcour de la chouette, you won't miss it.
We were there on a Saturday, in a day trip from Lyon, and it wasn't very packed with tourists, maybe the rainy weather scared some of them away.
I definitely recommend getting a ticket for the Tour Philippe le Bon in advance though. We went to the tourist Office as soon as it opened, but there weren't any spots left for the whole day. The visit was nice even without the view, though.
Don't miss the chouette in the notre dame church! You have to rub it two times for luck.
