Habitat et Humanisme Côte-d'Or was founded in 1995. This 1901 law association is part of the Habitat et Humanisme national federation, recognized as a public utility, which includes 56 associations and owns more than 9,800 housing units and 47 EHPADs. It offers housing to people experiencing difficulties in finding accommodation, and provides them with support. Through its ISBA social housing agency, the association has a portfolio of 88 housing units in the Dijon metropolitan area. Over 230 families have been rehoused since its creation. The association is constantly on the lookout for new homes and volunteers. The association ensures regular monitoring of the housing, which is reassuring for the owner, and technical monitoring: proposals for improvements, minor work carried out by association volunteers. Habitat et Humanisme also has an intergenerational residence in Chenôve, Le Trait d'Union, capable of accommodating 6 young students or apprentices, 8 families and 10 couples or single senior citizens.
