The Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, on the border with Tamil Nadu, is one of the state's most beautiful national parks. Located around 75 km from Palakkad, it is home to a rich variety of wildlife and lush vegetation, with forests of teak, rosewood and sandalwood trees.
