Small village of about 50 inhabitants, with sturdy houses covered with slate. A legend from the Middle Ages claims that the locals maintained 800 wooden poles along the path so that pilgrims could see the route even under the snow. It preserves a 16th century church dedicated to Saint Michael. Before reaching the village, you will pass by a viewpoint that offers a splendid view of the whole valley and the village below. Near the church, you will find a grocery store that prepares sandwiches. At the exit of the village, a curious monument dedicated to the German pilgrim Heinrich Krause who died here.
