One of the 6 Jesuit estancias of the region classified as World Heritage by UNESCO. It is located about 130 km from Córdoba. It takes about 3 hours to drive there because of the sometimes slippery tracks after the rains. To return to Córdoba, go to Tanti (72 km of dirt roads); you will then have 52 km of paved roads. There is no public transportation to get there.This is the largest estancia of all, the property covers 300,000 hectares. It was given to the Society of Jesus in 1673. The Jesuits at that time had to face the people already present there. This is why the estancia looks like a fort.
