THE PRESSES OF THE DUKES OF BURGUNDY
The impressive size of the Pressoirs of the Dukes of Burgundy bears witness to the greatness of the vineyard
The impressive size of the Pressoirs des Ducs de Bourgogne alone bears witness to the grandeur of the local vineyard, which today covers more than 65 hectares. Along with Clos Vougeot, they are the largest and oldest in the region. Built around 1400, under the reign of John the Fearless, they have been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 1934. They can be visited by appointment and are open during the summer months.
