The Douix spring is one of the most beautiful in France, prompting Celtic and Roman populations to make it a deity 2,000 years ago. Archaeologists have discovered artefacts such as statuettes, pottery and jewelry dating back to 700 BC. For speleologists, the Douix spring is an enigma: its mouth is passable up to 180 m, then progress is halted by boulders. The spring is surrounded by nature, making it an ideal spot for picnics and relaxation.
