MUSEUM OF THE ISLANDS
Museum with an exhibition of various objects relating the history of Pine Island
This small museum, housed in the island's former library, traces the history of Pine Island. Founded in 1989, it is dedicated to the preservation of local history, particularly that of the pioneers, fishermen and indigenous peoples of the region. Exhibits include shell collections, the island's wilderness, fishing, everyday objects and life in the days of "old Florida". And before you leave, don't miss the boutique featuring local books and handicrafts. A must-see!
