Butcher Xavier Monin has not only set up a second butcher shop in Beaune, following on from the one in Saint-Marcel, Saône-et-Loire, he has also taken the opportunity to create his own restaurant, where he prepares his finest cuts directly. At the Resto du 16, you can enjoy authentic tartar with a knife, matured rib steaks, and if the choice of menus isn't to your liking, the butcher's refrigerated bank is yours to choose from, and the meat is prepared à la carte. A truly original and appealing butchery-resto concept.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, 7.30am to 6.30pm. Meals from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Menus from €26.90 to €29.90 (2 or 3 courses and cooked meats on request). Dish of the day: €19.90 (starter, main course or dessert €19.90).
