SELDOVIA VILLAGE TRIBE

The village manages the modest Seldovia Museum where you will discover the culture and traditions of the native American peoples before colonization, the Aleut, Yupik, Alutiiq and Athabascans. We find the past of these tribes through archaeological, ethnographic and artistic traces, also returning to the Russian influence in the region with the arrival of the first foreigners here. The exhibition is certainly more classical than the one of the Anchorage museum, but the exhibits and the explanatory panels are interesting to discover.
