Travel Guide Douna

This site, 5 km from the Banfora-Sindou road, has been authorized by indigenous people since the summer of 2010 (CFAF 1 000 per person). It is a mountain site similar to that of Sindou where, in times of conflict towards the end of the th century, the Turka people réfugiait. It is possible to carry out a guided tour of one hour or two, punctuated by stops in different places and caves where meetings of chiefs, sorciers, but also maternity, prison, places of storage of war treasures and many things to discover… The wild state of this site makes the visit even more interesting. During the rainy season, prefer a 4 x 4 to access the site because of very sandy and furniture.
