Travel Guide Orodara

Orodara "la belle", capital of the province of Kénédougou, is located between Banfora at 40 km and Bobo-Dioulasso at 76 km. Organized around the main axis, it is where the market, shops and tourist accommodation of the village are located, and has a population of around 30,000 inhabitants. We quickly made the tour, but the surroundings are a wonder of nature. Leaving for Banfora, we leave the asphalt road for a beautiful track as far as the eye can see, along which we happily discover the mahogany nut workers near their small clay stoves. Not to mention mango trees, cashew trees, nérés, caicedrats, kapokiers... century-old trees! In this enchanting setting, the nickname "Burkina Faso Orchard" is fully justified. It is here that Dafani, the famous juice brand that can be found all over the country, has established itself. The surrounding villages are of incomparable beauty.
